I am a representational artist working in the mediums of oil paint, acrylic paint, pastels and watercolour. My inspiration often grows from an emotional response to nature and I am especially interested in how memories of place and personal experience play out in my art.​

My lifelong love of looking at, creating and teaching practical art and art history have also played a key role in informing my style and techniques.
